Some factories may temporarily stop operation due to adjustment of production and air compressors. How to properly handle the air compressors that are shut down? The screw air compressors are shut down for a long time. According to the length of the downtime, the following methods should be strictly followed, especially In seasons or areas where the temperature is below 0 degrees and high humidity, more attention should be paid to the treatment.
The treatment method for screw air compressor to stop for more than 1 month:
1) Wrap the electrical equipment such as the controller and distribution box of the air compressor with plastic paper or oil paper to prevent gas intrusion;
2) When the air compressor is shut down, the water in the oil cooler and the aftercooler should be completely drained to prevent the cooler from being cracked and damaged under low temperature conditions;
3) If there is any fault before the air compressor stops, it should be repaired and placed again to avoid urgent use in the future;
4) After the air compressor is stopped for two or three days, the condensed water in the oil and gas drum, oil cooler and aftercooler is discharged;
The screw air compressor is shut down for more than 3 months. In addition to the above procedures, the following processing is required:
1) Close all openings of the air compressor to prevent moisture and dust from entering;
2) Replace the air compressor oil before decommissioning, and run for 30 minutes. After two or three days, remove the condensate from the air tank and oil cooler;
3) completely discharge the condensate;
4) Place the air compressor in a place with less dust and dry air.

The meter can work with a pulse receiver(Count). The connection is as follows. The resistance value is up to the cable length & the max. input pulse frequency of receiver. Current 10mA is suitable for most receivers; however, you can reduce the resistance value when the cable is long. The max. current could be 50mA. Please use the fixed frequency output function to check if the cable length & resistance value is suitable.
Please check following items before operation, and operate according to relevant rules.
a) If the meter is damaged during shipment and installation;
b) If the voltage is same as marked on nameplate;
c) If the fuse is correct;
d) If the meter is grounded properly.
e) If the Meter SN on the nameplate of sensor and transmitter are the same.
If everything is fine, please open all valves, make the pipeline full of liquid and then power on
the meter for warm-up for 20min before operation. Finally, conduct zero calibration after first
start, and shall do it again if the meter is moved to another site.
Preparation for zero calibration:
a) Power on the meter for approximately 20min for warm-up;
b) Run the process fluid through the sensor until the sensor temperature reaches the normal
process operating temperature.
c) Close the shutoff valve downstream from the sensor.
d) Ensure that the sensor is filled with fluid and the process flow has completely stopped.
