Anhui: Actively strive for the national inspection center of quartz sand to settle in Fengyang

Han Xiancong and his entourage visited the laboratory that was carefully arranged by the center. After detailed inquiry about the scale of the center, fund raising, equipment purchase and talent introduction, absorption and training, the importance and necessity of the center construction were fully affirmed. Han Xiancong asked the county quality supervision bureau to base on Fengyang's rich mineral resources, and build a 100-billion-yuan glass (silicon) industry plan to continuously strengthen and expand the center. On the basis of vigorously building provincial-level centers, we will actively strive for the establishment of a national-level center in Fengyang. It is necessary to build a brand, a tree authority, and an image as a third-party impartial authority that is “fair science, accurate and standardized, and highly efficient”.
When Secretary Han Xiancong learned that there were still financial difficulties in the construction of the center, he said that he would provide financial support to the center as much as possible.
Since the establishment of the provincial government through the approval of the provincial bureau in December 2008, the center officially started construction in April 2009, and was capped at the end of December 2009. It was completed in February 2010. At present, the construction of auxiliary facilities such as greening and walling, qualification and personnel are being carried out. Training, quartz sand and products business propaganda, etc., is scheduled to be put into operation at the end of June this year. The construction of the center was fully supported by the Fengyang County Party Committee and the county government: 10 mu of land was allocated free of charge; the start-up funds and construction funds were allocated 5.5 million yuan; the county-level fees were free; and the county-level tax retention parts were all returned for the construction of the center. The construction of the center has also received 1.1 million yuan of financial support from the provincial and municipal quality supervision departments. After the completion of the center, it will play five roles: First, it will provide technical support for the 100 billion yuan glass and silicon industry plan for Fengyang County Party Committee and County Government, including industrial development and structural adjustment; second, it will provide fairness data for the society, including the province. The quality supervision and inspection issued by the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau and the tasks of enterprise product commissioning inspection and appraisal; the third is to provide factory inspection services for enterprises; the fourth is to provide technical means for quartz sand and product quality certification and safety evaluation; Sand and product research.
