PP-R pipe installation and construction guide

I. General regulations

1. Before the pipeline is installed and constructed, the following conditions shall be met:

a The drawings and other technical documents have been completed, and the technical drawings have been submitted to meet the construction requirements;

b Construction plan, construction technology, supply of materials and equipment can ensure normal construction;

c Personnel should be trained in the technical installation of polypropylene pipes for building water supply.

2. The supplied pipes and fittings shall comply with the design regulations and be accompanied by product specifications and quality certificates.

3. Do not use materials with signs of damage. If the pipeline quality is found to be abnormal, technical qualification or re-inspection should be carried out before use.

4. The opening of the pipeline system during installation should be blocked in time.

5. During the construction and installation, the pressure level and use occasion of the cold and hot water pipes should be reviewed. The pipe marking should face the outside and be in a prominent position.

Second, PP-R pipeline laying installation points

1. When the pipe is embedded in the wall, it should be matched with the reserved groove of the civil construction. When the size design is not specified, the depth of the wall of the inlaid wall is De 20mm and the width is dry De+40~60mm. The surface of the concave surface must be flat, and there should be no protrusions such as sharp corners. After the pipe is tested and tested, the wall groove is filled with M7.5 cement mortar.

2. The pipe is darkly laid in the floor surface and should be carried out according to the design drawing position. If there is a change in the site, there should be a record of the illustration.

3. When the pipeline is installed, there must be no axial distortion. When passing through the wall or floor, it should not be forcibly corrected. The water supply polypropylene pipe should have a certain protective distance when it is laid in parallel with other metal pipes. The net distance should be less than 100mm, and the polypropylene pipe should be inside the metal pipe.

4. The indoor wall-mounted pipeline should be carried out after the civil engineering finishes are completed. The hole should be reserved or the casing should be properly reserved before the installation.

5. When the pipeline crosses the floor, a steel casing shall be provided. The casing is 50mm above the ground and has waterproof measures. Strict waterproof measures should be taken when pipes pass through the roof. A fixed bracket should be provided at the front end.

6. When the hot water pipe runs through the wall, the steel casing should be set up with the civil construction. When the cold water pipe passes through the wall, the hole can be reserved. The size of the hole is 50mm larger than the outer diameter.

7. Pipes buried directly on the surface of the floor and in the wall should be checked and recorded before the sealing.

8. The requirements for the construction of physical introduction pipes and indoor buried pipes are as follows:

a. Indoor floor laying below 0.00 is recommended to be carried out in two stages. Firstly, the laying of the floor is less than 0.00 to the outer wall section of the foundation wall; after the completion of the construction of the earthwork, the laying of the outdoor connecting pipe is carried out;

b. The pipeline laying below the indoor floor should be re-excavated after the backfill of the construction project is completed. It is strictly forbidden to lay in the soil before or after the backfilling;

c. The bottom of the trench where the pipeline is laid should be flat, and each has a sharp pointed object. The particle diameter of the soil should not be larger than 12mm, and if necessary, a 100mm thick sand cushion should be laid.

d. When backfilling the buried pipeline, the backfill of the pipe shall not be in contact with the pipe wall. The sand or soil with a particle diameter of not more than 12 mm should be backfilled to the upper side of the pipe top 300 mrn, and the original soil can be backfilled after compaction. The buried depth of the indoor buried pipeline should not be less than 300mnl;

e. The pipe shall be provided with a protective pipe at the floor, and its height shall be higher than the ground evaluation 100mnl;

f. When the pipeline is worn through the foundation wall, a metal casing shall be provided. The clearance height above the reserved hole of the casing and the foundation wall shall not be less than 100mm;

g. When the pipeline crosses the neighborhood road and the thickness of the covering soil is less than 700mm, strict protection measures shall be taken.

Third, PP-R pipe connection points

1. The hot water connection should be used between the polypropylene pipe and the pipe fittings of the same material. The installation should use special hot melt tools. Pipes in dark walls and floor surfaces shall not be connected by thread or flange.

2. The water supply polypropylene pipe is connected with the metal pipe fittings. The polypropylene pipe fitting with metal pipe fittings should be used as the transition. The pipe fittings and the plastic pipe are connected by hot melt, and the metal fittings or sanitary ware hardware fittings are connected by wires.

3. The hot melt connection should be carried out as follows:

a. Turn on the hot melt to the power supply, and the operation temperature indicator light is on before the operation can be started;

b. Cutting the tube village, the end surface must be in the tube axis. Pipe cutting generally uses pipe shears or pipe cutters. Sharp hacksaws may be used if necessary, but the sections of the pipe shall be stripped of burrs and burrs after cutting;

c. The end face of the pipe village and the pipe fittings must be clean, dry and oil-free;

d. Measure and plot the hot melt depth at the pipe end with a caliper and a suitable pen. The hot melt depth should be in accordance with Table 9.

Note: If the ambient temperature is less than 5 ° C, the heating time should be extended by 50%.

e. When welding elbows or tees, according to the requirements of the design drawings, attention should be paid to the gas. In the straight direction of the pipe fittings and pipes, the position is marked with auxiliary marks;

f. When connecting, the tube end is introduced into the heating sleeve without rotation, and inserted into the marked depth. At the same time, the tube is pushed onto the heating head without rotation to reach the prescribed mark. Heating time must meet the requirements of Table 9;

g. Immediately after the heating time is reached, the pipe and the pipe are removed from the heating sleeve and the heating head at the same time, and the line is uniformly inserted into the marked depth without rotation, so that a uniform flange is formed at the joint;

h. In the machining time specified in Table 9, the newly welded joint can be corrected, but rotation is strictly prohibited.

4. When the pipeline is connected by electrofusion, the following provisions shall be met:

a. The fusion joint between the electrofusion tube and the tube should be kept free of moisture;

b. The connection end of the electrofusion socket connection pipe should be cut perpendicularly, and clean the dirt on the connection surface of the pipe and the pipe fitting with a clean cotton cloth, and mark the insertion depth to scrape off the skin;

c. Straighten the two corresponding connectors so that they are on the same axis;

d. The wire connection between the electrofusion connector and the electrofusion tube should be correct. Before connecting, check the voltage of heating and heating. The heating time should meet the relevant regulations of the manufacturer of electrofusion connecting tools and electrofusion fittings;

e. During the fusion and cooling process, the electrofusion tube and the fused tube shall not be moved or rotated, and no pressure shall be applied to the joint;

f. The standard heating time for the fused connection shall be provided by the manufacturer and shall be adjusted as the ambient temperature is varied. The relationship between the heating time of the fused connection and the ambient temperature shall be in accordance with Table 10. If the electrofusion machine has automatic temperature compensation, there is no need to adjust the heating time.

5. When using flange connection with pipeline, the following provisions shall be met:

a. The flange is placed on the pipe.

b. PP-R transition joint and pipe hot melt connection steps should comply with 3.3.

c. Straighten the two corresponding connectors so that the two flanges connected are perpendicular to the centerline of the pipe and the surfaces are parallel to each other.

d. The gasket of the flange shall be made of heat-resistant and non-toxic rubber ring.

e. Bolts of the same specification should be used, and the installation direction is the same. The bolts should be tightened symmetrically. The bolts to be fastened should be exposed outside the nut and should be flush. The bolt nut should be galvanized.

f. The length of the connecting pipe should be accurate. When the bolt is tightened, the pipe should not be pulled axially.

g. Supporting hangers should be provided at the flange connection.

Fourth, support hanger installation

1. When installing the pipeline, the pipe clamp and the support hanger must be set according to different pipe diameters and requirements. The position should be accurate, the burial should be smooth, and the pipe clamp should be in close contact with the pipeline, but the pipe surface should not be damaged.

2. When using metal pipe clamps and support hangers, plastic strips or rubber soft spacers should be used between the metal pipe clamps and the pipes. In the connection between the metal pipe fitting and the water supply polypropylene pipe, the pipe length should be set at one end of the metal fitting.

3. The distance between the riser and the horizontal pipe hanger shall not exceed the provisions of Table 5.

V. Pressure test of PP-R pipe

1. The test pressure of the cold water pipe should be 15 times of the working pressure of the pipeline system. But not less than 10 MPa.

2. The hot water pipe test pressure should be 20 times the working pressure of the pipeline system. But not less than 1.5MPa.

3. The pipeline hydraulic pressure test shall meet the following requirements:

a. hot melt connection pipeline, hydraulic test time should be carried out after 24h;

b. Before the water pressure test, the pipeline should be fixed and the joints should be exposed;

c. After the pipeline is filled with water, the air in the pipeline is discharged first to check the watertightness;

d. The manual pump should be used for pressurization. The boosting time is not less than 10 min, and the pressure accuracy of the measuring instrument should be 0.01 MPa.

e. To the specified test pressure, voltage regulation lh, the test pressure drop shall not exceed 0.06Mpa.

f. Under the condition of 1.15 times of working pressure, the pressure drop should not exceed 0.03Mpa for 2h; at the same time, check that the joints are not leaky.

4. Pipes directly buried in the surface layer and wall of the floor shall be carried out before the surface layer is poured or sealed. After the pressure test requirements are met, the civil works can continue construction.

6. Cleaning and disinfection of PP-R tanks

1. The water supply pipe system should be flushed with water before acceptance. The flushing water flow rate should be greater than Zm/s. When flushing, the dead angle should not be left. The faucet should be opened at each water distribution point. The lowest point of the system should be equipped with a water discharge port. The cleaning time is controlled at the outlet of the flushing outlet.

2. After the drinking water system is washed, it is also filled with water with 20-30mg/l of free chlorine for disinfection. Chlorine-containing water should be retained in the tube for more than 24 hours.

3. After the pipeline is disinfected, it is rinsed with drinking water and sampled and tested by the health management department. The water quality complies with the current national standard “Sanitary Standard for Drinking Water” before it can be delivered.

* Within 30 minutes, allow two boosts to rise to the specified test pressure.

Seven, safe construction:

l When using hot melt tools for pipe connection, the safe operation rules of electrical tools should be observed, and moisture and dirt pollution should be paid attention to.

2. There must be no open flame at the operation site. It is strictly forbidden to bend the water to the polypropylene pipe village.

3. Do not use water polypropylene pipes for climbing or hanging.

4. After the direct buried pipe is covered, the position and direction of the pipe should be marked on the wall or the ground. It is strictly forbidden to impact or nail sharp objects such as metal nails on the pipe.

Eight, PP-R tank storage and transportation

1. When handling pipes and fittings, care should be taken to avoid oil stains. It is strictly forbidden to strike sharply, touch with sharp objects and throw, fall, roll and drag.

2. Pipes and fittings should be stored in a well-ventilated warehouse or simple shed. They should not be stored in the open air, and should be protected from direct sunlight. Pay attention to fire safety. The heat source should not be less than lm.

3, the pipe should be stacked horizontally on the flat ground, should avoid bending the pipe, the stacking height should not exceed 1.5in, the pipe fittings should be piled up layer by layer, should not be stacked too high.
