Lexus hoverboard Slide reveals: can stand on a specific track

According to the British "Daily Mail" reported on August 4, the release of the suspension skateboard video developed by Lexus has caused great repercussions in the network. The video shows that Lexus has brought the hoverboard into the real world.

The suspension skateboard developed by Lexus was named "SLIDE". It is estimated that the skateboard is suspended in the air by electromagnetic force, but Lexus has so far refused to disclose the specific operation principle of the skateboard.

In order to make this video, the company built a skate park with a special track, and laid a normal road surface on the track to make it look different from the ordinary skate park.

The operation of the suspension slide utilizes superconductors, magnets, and liquid nitrogen. Lexus claims that superconducting materials are stored in a liquid nitrogen "low temperature thermostat" at -197 degrees Celsius. This superconducting slide will then be placed over a track containing permanent magnets that are effectively "frozen" in the superconductor so that the slide is suspended above the track.

Professional skateboarder Ross McGouran said in the latest video that using the Lexus hoverboard is like floating in the air. Because of this experience he was hailed as a "suspended skateboard test pilot." But the video that he really is on the skateboard is rarely seen in the video.

The suspension skateboard was developed by Lexus Japan Tokyo Branch. The company wrote in the statement: "The suspension skateboard can be completely frictionless, which was considered impossible in the past." This is the only technical information currently revealed by Lexus. But Lexus said it will release more information next.
