DSM has introduced a new carbon fiber filled polyamide (PA) 6/66 filament grade – Novamid ID 1030 CF10 for 3D printing. Although carbon fiber is 10% lower than other carbon-filled materials, it can be used to make functional prototypes and industrial parts that are close to the targets that are typically achieved by injection molding, while being simple with non-reinforced plastics.
