Professor Ma Xinsheng, director of the National Engineering Research Center for Ultrafine Powder, said that perovskite thin-film batteries can get rid of dependence on the environment and high-cost raw materials compared with traditional thin-film batteries, and greatly reduce operational difficulty and equipment costs. Its industrialization prospect is good, and it is expected to break the current monopoly of silicon solar cells.

As the most widely used new energy battery on the market today, silicon solar cells account for about 90% of the market share of photovoltaic modules.
