In order to break through the core technology of high-speed EMUs and increase the intensity of independent innovation, the former Ministry of Railways has established a major project of “EMUs Key Technology Independent Innovation Deepening Research Project”. The program of the train network control system is extremely complicated. If one instruction is wrong, it will affect the entire computer to read the data. Finding such a problem in the tens of thousands of lines of source code is like finding a needle in a haystack! "To correct the technical defects of the foreign side, it is more difficult than writing the program yourself!" Recalling those days with great pressure, Zheng Hengliang is still unforgettable.

After many rounds of car inspections and repeated simultaneous tests on the ground test bench, the team finally accurately smashed the culprit in the complicated process and found the time parameter for making trouble. Through software redesign, the problem of shaft temperature false alarm caused by CRH5 axle temperature jump is completely solved.

A glimpse of the whole leopard. The autonomous improvement of the shaft temperature display system is only a microcosm. "Under the efforts of the team, the overall failure rate of the CRH5 EMU has been greatly reduced through repeated hard work, which not only ensures the smooth operation of the online CRH5 EMU, but also enables the company to obtain subsequent market orders for similar models. Future R&D focus is on Industrial Ethernet on high-speed trains

On October 22, 2014, the fully autonomous CNR CRH5 EMU train network control system (“High Speed ​​Rail Brain”) was approved by the China Railway Corporation for technical review and was approved for mass loading, becoming the first approved batch in China.
