China successfully developed ultra-trace brominated flame retardant analysis technology

China’s plasticization science and technology continue to improve, and it is reported that the Shandong Provincial Science School’s scientific and technological progress planning project “Technique for the Analysis of Green Color of Ultra-trace Brominated Flame Retardants in the Background” has been successfully established in the Shandong provincial science and technology school. In the background, the new technologies for the analysis of brominated flame retardants have been identified and the senior experts have been fully aware of the advanced international standards.

This project applies solid-phase micro-refining, solid-phase extraction, accelerated solvent extraction, and dispersion liquid-phase micro-refining of brominated flame retardants such as tetrabromobisphenol A, polybrominated diphenyl ether, and hexabromocyclododecane in the background. Disposal technology was systematically studied and a new method of gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry was established. The brominated flame retardant analysis technology established in the background has advanced hand-eye detection and satisfactory reproducibility and correctness. The method has a friendly background, low price, high sensitivity, simplicity, agility, practicality, and high innovation. It provides new methods and basic research materials for the rapid monitoring and detection of brominated flame retardants, and is of practical value to national environmental protection decision-making and background supervision.
