The business agency reported on February 17th that the Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau once again sent the Fujian Provincial Textile Dyeing and Finishing Industry Water Pollutant Emission Standards (Second Consultation Draft) and its preparation instructions to relevant units and enterprises in Fujian Province. The solicitation unit includes 8 printing and dyeing companies and 3 environmental engineering companies in Shishi City.
The new standard is the local standard of Fujian Province. Based on the national standard, the index limits formulated are either equivalent to the national standards of the same period, or are stricter than the national standards of the same period. The new standard sets the maximum allowable displacement for the wastewater of textile dyeing and finishing industry in Fujian Province, and Emission limits of COD, ammonia nitrogen and other major pollution factors in wastewater.
It is understood that the implementation date of the standard tentatively set June 1, 2014, for the printing and dyeing enterprises to implement new strict emission reduction standards set aside time for adjustment. As the standard is a mandatory standard, some small printing and dyeing companies will be forced to shut down after the implementation, but will help the popularization and promotion of the new printing and dyeing methods of water, water, and low bath ratio in the printing and dyeing industry.
